Forklift safety comes down to two things: how the equipment is operated, and how the space around it is set up. On the operating side, that means trained operators, realistic load limits, clear sightlines and never rushing a lift to save a few minutes. Most incidents happen when one of these basics gets skipped under pressure, not because of a fault with the machine itself. Layout matters just as much. Common issues we come across include blind corners near racking, pedestrian and forklift paths that cross without warning, and aisles that are too narrow for the equipment actually being used in them. Small changes to signage, racking placement or traffic flow can remove a lot of risk without a full warehouse redesign.
